Castaway Art Success!

The Castaway Art Competition was held in conjunction with the Rockhampton show this year, bringing in over forty very creative entries! 

The competition was open to all ages, with classes for 3D sculpture, themed photography and other artworks.

Entrants were required to incorporate ‘found objects’ in their sculptures and artworks and all entries had to reflect the theme of recycling and environmental sustainability.

Fantastic prizes from Derivan were presented to the winners by Councillor Sandra O’Brian and Councillor Tony Williams from Rockhampton Regional Council.
